Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer always dreamed of being an all-purpose superstar. As a child Jennifer was fond of a variety of kinds of music, but mostly Afro-Caribbean songs like merengue, salsa and bachata. She also loved popular music like hip-hop , and R&B. She was an avid fan of music and film. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer as well as being an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, attended for eight years at Holy Family Catholic Middle School in The Bronx. After a 4 year period and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer excelled in athletics at school and competed in tennis as well as track and field. Her entire life was raising her children in a two-story home in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer quit her parents' house at 18 , to leave. Lopez began her work at a law firm while dancing during the night.
