Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and bilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience working with non-profit organizations. She has served a wide variety of populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing with substance abuse issues and victims of sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth is currently offered for patients in the Behavioral Health. Dr. Rivas has worked with postpartum and prenatal mothers for over a decade. She is a specialist in trauma-informed treatment and also provides EMDR for adults. She can provide individual or group therapy as well as the medication-assisted treatment program. The referral for specialized care are also available. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever new homes.
